Mega Signings was founded in 2020 after seeing the urgent need for notaries during the pandemic. The owner and founder Sharonda Harris has three degrees one associate degree in Criminal Justice, and the others are bachelor's degrees one in Business Law and the other in Business Management. She has been in the mortgage finance industry for over 19 years. She is now currently a Virginia state commissioned notary and certified signing agent.
During her career in the mortgage finance industry, she has developed a working knowledge of programs as well as laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures needed to get the job done. Sharonda's experience includes brokering business deals for small to mid-size businesses, conducting mortgage foreclosure and tax sale refunds for homeowners, and administering the sale of mortgage notes from private noteholders. She also has experience in mortgage operations, mortgage underwriting, new home construction, loan servicing, loss mitigation, collections, and foreclosure services.
Her job is to carefully identify each client’s needs and help set goals to formulate a customized strategy to ensure each client's individual needs are met. During Sharonda's career in mortgage finance, she has worked for some of the biggest institutions such as Allied First Bank, Freedom Mortgage, Prosperity Mortgage, Small Business Administration (SBA), Wells Fargo, Freddie Mac, KB Homes, and Countrywide Home Loans (now Bank of America).
